Ribbon Collage // Art Project to Showcase my HorseShow Ribbons

As an equestrian who has been competing in horse shows since childhood, I wanted to create a special way to showcase my accomplishments over the years. I decided to create a collage of my horse show ribbons in a frame that I purchased from Marshalls. The project required a lot of time and attention to detail, but the end result was worth it.

I started by selecting the ribbons that held the most sentimental value to me. Each ribbon represented a different competition or horse show that I had participated in throughout my life. I carefully chose around 24 to 30 ribbons to use for the project.

Once I had my selection of ribbons, I began the process of designing the collage. I wanted the ribbons to be arranged in a way that would create a visually appealing and balanced display. It took some time to figure out the best layout, but I eventually settled on a design that I was happy with.

The next step was to assemble the ribbons onto a board that would fit inside the 24″ x 36″ frame. I used hot glue to secure each ribbon onto the board, taking great care to make sure that each ribbon was perfectly aligned. The hot glue provided a sturdy hold while still allowing me to make slight adjustments during the process.

The final result was a beautiful and vibrant collage of horse show ribbons that spanned my entire equestrian career. The project allowed me to reflect on my accomplishments and the horses that have helped me achieve them. It’s a truly special piece that I will cherish for years to come.
