Fall Staples that transition from the Barn to Town

I cannot believe it is September! Fall, my birthday, sweater weather! But with fall and cooler weather, I wanted to pull some staples that you can add to your wardrobe that you can wear while riding and then to go run errands! Am I the only one who feels more awkward wearing street clothes to the barn than riding clothes into Target?

I pulled the Tri Factor X Breeches which are one of Ariat’s newest models. I also ride in the Tri Factor, but the X model has a few improvements and added details. A black riding pant is easy to pull off as leggings too. Plus, we know it’s flattering!

Ok, if you haven’t jumped on the bodysuit train, as a rider this essentially rids the entire process of bunching your shirt in your pants to tuck them in. Your tops will just lie flat. I love these plain cotton bodysuits, and if you look close there are small cutouts. I picked this A&F Seamless Bodysuit which would look cute in jeans or breeches, but it’s also practical. These will also run a bit fitted, so will be flattering for a chic riding look.

This flannel “shacket,” as they’re calling them this fall is on trend, but also a great option for wearing around the barn. I love the neutral tones, and I feel like would pair well with some wellies and a black coffee. I chose this Quilted Shirt Jacket from A&F as well. I love the quality of their clothes, and they’re just comfortable tow ear all day.

Unless riding in jeans is your thing, these aren’t for riding. But, if I don’t want to wear breeches from the barn to Target, I love a loose fit jean like these Dad Jeans from A&F.
