It is HOT here in Georgia. You start sweating just standing outside, and the humidity here is really cramping my new hair cut! (To the girls that can arrive at the barn fresh-faced and hair-down, I am jealous. My hair is immediately up on top of my head .2 seconds after arriving at the barn!)
But, I found these great Amazon finds to help beat the heat that are super fun and cute. Plus, they’re affordable! Yes ma’am! I am not trading a riding lesson for an expensive sunshirt anymore!
This top is under $15! What?! I know. This is perfect if you ride in tights and don’t want to tuck the shirt in. The cute knot in the back keeps your shirt form-fitting and is adjustable. The breathable back is functional and conservative.
So this shirt is also on sale right now and under $15! It has great reviews and the quality looks great and slimming. These would be great summer shirts to have barn logos put on. The reviews say it runs a touch large so size down for a fitted riding shirt. But I love simple fitted tees, and these are sweat and UV-ray approved.
If you want more sun-protection but need to beat the heat I love this cropped option under $30. The paneling is actually mesh, so very breathable, and it had great reviews from summer kayakers!
So I had never heard of this brand, but it’s actually the #1 selling equestrian shirt on Amazon. No wonder, it’s under $30! This is your typical Summer Sun Shirt with ventilated arms. I do wish there were more colors, but comes in Navy and White. (Oh and you get a free dog leash to match? Presh.)
Ok, so honestly, I have never worn one of these, but I have seen riders that do. Strangley the medium is less than the small, but the reviews indicate that this vest runs small. So size up! But, essentially this vest keeps you cool! Again, under $30 (in Medium, at least for now)
My Mom is going to ask when have I ever worn matching boot socks. I have them. I just don’t have matching pairs. These thin socks are the best for summer. Under $5. Several color options. I grew up with these Zocks. Tested and approved.
Some of my other favorite summer staples (that keep me on budget!)
